i didnt really find a sight but i picked a few things up on writing paragrahs. One of those things is you need to brainstorm what your story is going to b exactly. u should know before u even start so you dont get confused when you start writing.
i need to work on correcting grammer and spelling errors definetally. I think i have a good grasp on how to write paragraphs and how to make the paragraph one idea. So i just have to concentrate on my little mistakes like commas and stuff.
One thing that I discovered about paragraphs is that its not always how meaty your paragraph is in the middle, sometimes the conclusion sentence makes it a great paragraph. If your conclusion sentence is lacking then maybe the person reading it will think twice about reading another piece of your writing because your conclusion sentence let them down. The final sentence can always make or break a paragraph.
this web site confirmed things that i already knew. i knew you had to come off strong and make some one interested in your writing and i also knew that you needed to have varying sentence length. also i knew that i needed to end my paragraph in a way that seemed fitting with the contents or events of the story or paragraph. lastly i knew taht i needed you can't be takling about one thing and then switch to another. you have to use logic and make your writing some out well. this website was more of a reference point for me than a learning expirience for me but it was still helpful.
The main thing that i need to focuse on when I am writing my paragraphs are my spelling and my use in grammer. I think that i am strong in writing my pargraphs and knowing how to stay on topic and make the whole paragraph about one idea. So with that said i just need to work on my spelling and grammer.
http://www.uottawa.ca/academic/arts/writcent/hypergrammar/parunif.html this website shares what you should have in a paragragh. I thought this was a good website to go to and find stuff.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Paragraph i learned that paragraphs writing is very hard because you have to be very preicous with your writing and sentence struscture
These sites are useful for people who have just started to work on developing paragraphs however for me it was just like a reminder or reveiw. I didn't find anything new that I didn't already know. Sometimes I forget to indent a new paragraph and just make it one big paragraph instead of seperating my thoughts. But lately I've been remembering to seperate my thoughts and am discovering that this one detail can help you develop your writing and organize your thoughts even better.
I need work on my topic sentences and make them more descriptive. I read the first link and i am missing some things in them. Sometimes i don't even put a topic sentence. I think the paragraph on topic sentences will help me a lot.
I need to work on figurative language and making my sentences run smoothly, instead of short and boring. Also I need to organize my events better and make sure when you read the whole paragraph it makes you wanting to read more which is another thing I need to work on, excitement in my story.
