Ekphrastic Poetry
Follow this link to see examples of ekphrastic poetry. After reviewing the examples, I want you to come back to this post, and comment on how the poem related to the photograph on an emotional level.
the poem that i read was based off of an image of the veteran's memorial in washington d.c. the author(s) really explained in detail not only wat it felt to see the memorial but wat it was like in the war itself and how it feels to see all the names of their fellow soldiers who died alongside them.
The poems dont tell whats in the picture but what the person feel when they look at it and whats going on.
