April 13 Odyssey questions

I have two questions for you:
Why is it significant that Athena, Goddess of wisdom, is trying to help Odysseus?
What do the Eagles in book two represent?

Be as detailed as possible in your answers, and provide support from internet resources.

  2. 1. It was significant that Athena is trying to help Odysesseus because he no longer needed to be away from his family and all the Gods agreed but poseidon. Since Athena pitied Odysseus she felt the need to help him return safely to his family. So he can also rescue his family as well.

  4. 1.It is significant that Athena is trying to help Odysesseus because i believe that she does not want to see this family go through a seperation. I say this because i think Crounis eat his children and Zeus got them free.

    2. The eagles represent Zues becasuse, the eagle is one o Zeus's animals. Zeus would turn into a eagle to impress another god, then Athena found out and sent that other god to the underworld.

  5. 1.It was significant that Athena was trying to help Odysseus because with Odysseus being away from Ithica so long his house was taken over by men who wanted to marry his wife Penelopia. His son Talamachos is to youg to do anything seeing this athen demand that Zeus send Odysseus back to his family. Especially since Odyesseus him self was in pain from being away for so long. all the gods agreed that Odysseus should be returned home, except for the God of the Sea Poseidon.

2.The eagles in book two of the Odessey represent Zeus's agreement with Telemachos that the men in Odysseus's home needed to leave.

  7. 1) It was significant that Athena the Goddess of wisdom is trying to help Odysseus for the fact that it wasn't neccesary for him tyo be away from his home anymore, and all of the Gods had agreed except Poseidon. Athena had sympathy for Odysseus and was sure to get him on th return for his home.

2)The eagles in book two represent Zeus, because that was among one of his many symbols.

  9. the sifnificants that athena is trying to help odyssues is because sha and the other gods besides Poseidon thought that he was has been away from home to long and they were worried about those guys taken his lady. He really also needed to get back to his home town to make sure that his people were alright
    2. the eagle in book 2 represents Zeus and him protecting Odyssues home because the guys that were in the houes were messing with his wife and that was bad and they shouldn't have been doing the stuff they were doing so he was warning them to get out if not something bad would have happend
