This poem called The Death of the Ball Turret Gunner by Randall Jarrell is interesting. The author is talking about the death of it. The guy was in a ball turret gunner, and he was shooting it and went in there knowing he was going to die. He was shooting a lot and it was freezing cold in there. He was always freezing and eventually died. When he did die he got washed out with a hose. I understood it pretty much the same way that the author wrote it. I bet he was referring to the wars when he did write it. I really liked this poem because the way it was set up and stuff. Everything I read, I could also imagine. Which is almost always a good thing.

This poem is A Noiseless Patient Spider by Walt Whitman is about comparing a spider and a human being. Thats pretty much all it's saying. I understood it a little deeper then what it was saying, I think. They we're saying what spiders do and what humans do. The author is saying almost the same thing I understood, but in a little different form. I found that this poem didn't have much of a structure. Or any structure at all. I enjoyed this poem though cause the author put it in a cool and detailed way.

The first poem in my comment is "Who are you little i?" what i thought the poem was about was a man who is reflecting on his younger years and how when he was younger he never wanted things to end but when they did he was always happy that they ended in a beautiful way.

What I found at this link was a review of the poem "who are you little i".
The creator of the blog created a review and a commentary with his thoughts about this poem. One way that I related to the author was the first part of his opinion."...if day/has to become night/this is a beautiful way" Me and the reviewer realted to the text in the begining by agreeing on the meaning to be an unwelcome transition and the beautiful way for an ending

My comment for the "Black Snake" by: Mary Oliver is that I think what she is trying to say in this poem is the transition from life to death. Also that life is so powerful in everything that moves, that we continue to move on through life with out caring so much about the threat, and dangers of death and everything of that sort.

heres the link to shakespeare's 50th sonnet. I thought this sonnet was about how when traviling the pain that he puts the beast of burdan through cannot compare to his because of the joy that hes eaving behind.

I found at this link that he had wrote it in a beautiful way. He makes the people wonder if he is having flash backs and having him be a little kid again. They see he is touched by his feelings.

Death is always cruel. The title doesn't lie. Its always hard going through something with someone for a long period of time, only to have them die when your back is turned. The pain must be immense and the grief is worse that you feel somewhat angered at yourself for letting it happen even though the fault wasn't your own. When ones life is taken and you love that one. Then yes Death is always cruel.

This one is sweet. When your in love that person is the most beautiful thing to you. Whatever they do, how they walk, look, feel all of it can seem like heaven's blessing. At least thats what I think this poem is saying. Describing the lady with a gentle and pure heart as well as a most beautiful face, not only is she the one he loves but the one he'd clearly do anything for. The relief of when she gives a sigh for the joy they both have for eachother must have been how he felt every moment when he was with her

    Dream-Deferred by Langston Hughes
This poem is one of my favorite poem what I think the author is getting at is is really don't give up when life is starting to get tough you just really have to get through it. What some people thought of this poem is that he is whinning but personaly I think he is trying to motavate everyone who has had a hard time in life.

    Mother to Son-by: Langston Hughes
I think in this poem his mom is giving him the courage and faith again when life is tough you still have to keep going no matter what is happening. Some people thought that his mom is trying to help so they had the same comment as me.

Above is the link to Shakespeare's 52nd sonnet.
This sonnet to me is a representation of love that is so precious it has to be locked away and is rarely seen. in fact theres a reference that i took to mean the heart keeps ticking down oh his life and hes running out of time to see such happiness as what he finds with his love.

As far as my opinion on the witch impression is more important I believe that the readers is the more important one. I think this because the writer writes for the reader and they are toe one who reviews the writers work.
