What gave the movie this twist is when they are the ocean and the shark is swimming up to them and the shark is about to eat them but he didn't because some one of main characters sacrificed them self for there friends. I think directors did this so they can make sequel for the movie.
A movie that had a really big twist to it that i have recently seen is kind of an older movie that is called The Others. The Others is about a single mom with two kids who break out in an alergic reaction every time they go out into the sun. About half way through the movie the children start to seem really scared. The mom asks whats wrong and they tell her that they see ghosts. Towards the end they all find out that they are dead! They are the ghosts! The way that i figured out what the movie was actually saying was just to keep watching. I think that the directors added mystery because they wanted to build up suspense for when they drop the big bomb on everyone that the family is actually dead.

I was playing the Call of Duty Black Ops campain and in one of the missions was that you find out that the guy you have been working with in your memories has been dead for the past five years. This mission made me a little confused but started to make sense after a while. I figured out what the game was trying to say by playing more through the campain and starting to piece it together. I think directors and story makers include elements of mystery in their creations to keep you guessing
ReplyDeletethe movie i watched might of been the movie v for vendetta, i think this movie had a twist because i think this movie was kind of confusing. i did not know what the movie was about until i found out later in the movie. i had other people tell me about this movie and they all said that this movie was pretty good but confusing and so i read the back of the movie cover and it told me all about the movie and what it was about. i think the directors did a pretty good job because they added words that were mostly in the dictionary and added good scene and action.

ReplyDeleteThe move Shutter Island seriously confused me. The hole movie didn't make any sense until the very end and then something happened that took awhile to figure out. When I finished watching the movie, through the delusions, tricks, dreams etc. I finally figured it all out. In the end it made sense when he said "I'd rather die a hero then live as a villan." One of my friends who saw the movie also agreed with me and also pointed out some interesting facts about the movie. I think the directors choose to make it like a mystery mainly because without it there would really be no story to it. Sometimes the mystery is needed even if its confusing to something but in the end it all seems to just make sense. Besides, the storyline gets exciting with so many twists. Without them it most likely wouldn't have been that good!
Okay so, I was watching this movie the other day. I can't remember the name of it though. It was about this lady who worked at a jail and there was this guy who had been there since he was 19 and is now 35. His name was Robert. Robert had robbed a bank and killed the banker and thats why he has been in jail for 16 years. He seemed to have changed and she started developing feelings for him so she decided to let him out. The twist is that he really hadn't changed. A short amount of time after she released Robert they started dating and he bought her this watch. Well on the news, a bank had been robbed and the banker was murdered. I was in total shocked because he had fooled everyone into thinking that he was a nice guy now and had learned his lesson, but he hadn't and that's a fact. I was talking to my mom about it and she said that she wouldn't have guessed the robber/murderer was him. I could tell though because he had really bad anger issues and would always get super mad and go off on people. I think the director chose to include elements of mystery in this movie because it draws the audiences attention in more toward the meaning of this movie, and it makes them more interested in watching the whole thing. When I got confused about why he robbed the bank and killed the worker, I started paying more attention and found out that there were a lot of clues leading to why he did it. The reason Robert did what he did, was because he was obsessed with the girl he is dating. She found out it was him and now he will be in jail forever. No more fooling anyone. I figured out what the movie was trying to say, when he got caught. This movie was so cool and twisted all at the same time.

I figured out what the movie was trying to say because my friend explained it to me then when i watched it again it made more sense. If i talked to a friend about the movie they might have a different perspective because i jumped to conclusions before it even happened. I think the directors choose to include elements of mystery in their creations because they wanted the people to think oh this is going to happen and then it be a whole different thing. ReplyDeletelately ive watched the tv show House. this show always has a twist to it. most of the time the twist is the same the patient is termanly ill. But this time i was really throne off because the patient seemed to get better then relapsed and died. The show threw me for a loop and i think that this was the desired effect of the directo because he wants you to be on your toes durribng the show and wants you to want to continue watching because your curios as to wat happens next

A movie that I have recently seen that had a twist was Shutter Island. the movie was about a guy who went to an Island and was trying to figure out what was going on with the people there and then he thought there was a place in this tower that where the mess with your brain and take part of it out. In the end the was really a person that was sent there because his wife killed his kids and then he freaked out or something like that, so when the end of the movie strolls around he finds out that he is just making this all up and its not really happening and that he is just off his pills so the people have to "put him down" in a sense.

ReplyDeleteLast night i was watching this movie called "Never Back Down". It was a crazy movie. I didn't get to watch all of it. At the start there is this new kid and his family that moved to town because the littlest kid had got a tennis schollership. THe older brother was in football but he was always getting in fights with other people. HIs mom had bailed him out of jail 3 times and it sounds like he is a really hot head. So when they get to this school this hot girl starts talking and flirting with the new kid. I don't remember his name. We will call him Jim. So the girl asks Jim to a party. When he gets there he meets this guy that is into some MMA fighting. The guy says that the main event is him vs JIm. This is all because Jim got in a fight in a football game and took out like 3 guys. So they fight because the fighter says some mean stuff about his dad. So they fight and the fighter is great and beats the snot out of Jim. But it turns out that the fighter is dating the hot girl and it was all a set up. I didn't really see it coming. It was not that big of a twist but it cought me off guard.
A movie that seemed to have a twist to the plot was the movie "shutter island". It was very confusing to see this "detective" go around trying to figure out how to find the missing person on the island. I figured out what they were trying to get at when i saw the near ending when they pieced it all together. I was confused about what this movie was trying to say but it all made sense in the climactic point in time. The directors used the art of mystery to make the movie more suspenseful and lead you down to a different conclusion then what you had originally thought. It also makes you want to continue throughout the movie to know what happened to the main character.

ReplyDeleteA movie recently that i watched that had a twist to it was Ghost Ship. It had a really big twist to it. What i did when i got confused was i went and asked my friend what it was getting at. And what he said what was kind of the same perspective as i sort of had, but he made it more clear to understand it. Why I think directors choose to include elements of mystery in their creations is to throw the reader or person watching it off guard and make them think that they know how its going to end but then the turn the tables on you and end it differently.
I watched this one movie with two girls and there was a big explosion at there house. Her mom was very sick and she ended up dyeing. One of the girls go to a mental instatution because she tried to kill herself. When she comes back she sees her sister and talks to her a lot but she dont talk to her parents any longer. Well her father and step mom. The step mom started the explosion and no one knew this but the girl figured it out. At the end she ends up killing the step mom for killing her mom and then her sister disapears. But no one ever told her in the explosion that her sister died to. She was only imagining her to be there but really wasnt. It confused me when her sister was just gone and didnt come back to the story but when her dad told her about the explosion i finally reliezed that she was dead and she still needed to be in the mental house.
ReplyDeleteI saw this show the other day it is a series called decisiones or i think thats how you spell it, anyway it is a series about random events and in the one i saw it was about a twisted professor. These girls wanted there grade up and so they would threaten him to raise by saying they would tell everyone he raped them. They would take of there shirts and scream until he did. One of his students was his girlfriends son and he did not no about it until he went to her house and the son said that she needed to stop seeing him or he will drop out of collage. So the mother stops seeing him and he goes crazy, the son's girlfriend was one of the ones who messed with the professor saying to raise there grade or else. So he went and raped her. A month or so later he went to the mom again and he raped her saying if she said anything he would kill her son. The girlfriend shows up at the house and says that she is pregnat but does not say how all she says is that she is going to get rid of it. The mother interupts her and says that she is pregnat to. So the boy goes to find the professor and he tells him the news. But as he does the girlfriend and the cops show up and they find out that he had raped her. Both babies were exterminated but the mothers story never comes out. 3 months later they found out that some kid who was in that class had been found dead in the bathroom. I had thought that it was the professor who had done it but the episode ended as someone calling the mom saying the job has been done she hangs up and smiles so i don't really get that part to me that was the twist.
ReplyDeleteThe latest movie I've seen is called Paprika, and it fits this prompt PERFECTLY. Other than being completely amazing (Watch it. Seriously. But not around your olds, cause there's naked people), it was rather confusing. To sum it all up, it's about this company who made a device called the DC Mini, which can allow a person's dreams to be penetrated so mental diseases can be cured, and so the person's dreams can be explained and help them in life. The main character, Atsuko, is the lead of this team of people who made the DC Mini, and her closest cohorts are the Chief (who's name I've forgotten), and Tokita, the EXTREMELY morbidly obese inventor who is really a kid at heart. It involves all of them, especially Atsuko and her alter-ego Paprika, to stop a madman who has stolen the DC Mini to warp reality as we know it. At the end of the movie (spoilers, sorry...) Atsuko confesses that she's in love with Tokita (Can't see why though...he's nice and all, but seriously, the dude can't wait any less than 600 lbs. He's like that one lady from that one fairy tale who swallows the fly and then the bird and then the horsy and stuff.), and that is the reason why she created her alter ego Paprika, so Paprika can experience these feelings while Atsuko tries to surpress them. I was like...WOAH!! SHOCKER!! Looking back, it was made obvious that Atsuko loved Tokita, but I guess I was too enthralled by the crazy amazing music to really notice. Even though Atsuko is tiny and serious and Tokita is childish and...well....NOT small, I think they're SO SUPER ADORABLE CUTE TOGETHER!! THEY GOT MARRIED, HOOOOORAY!!

But all in all, I have to say just how BRILLIANT Paprika is, and how you have to go see it RIGHT NOW. The soundtrack is just so beautiful, and the movie itself makes you feel marvelous on the inside. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE IF YOU'RE HIGH THOUGH. Your head will explode. I'm so serious, it's just that crazy. BUt it's SHOCKING! AND IT FITS THE PROMPT!
One movie that i saw that had a twist to the plot would have to be one that i watched a few weeks ago. This movie is 300, this movie throws me off so many times. I say this because what happens at the end when they are defeated. What happens then. I believe that this movie was trying to say that if their men go down then their town would go down with no one to keep order but also, too protect the town.Its been so long since my friends have watched this movie, they really forgot about the movie and only remember the fighting and the big parts. A movie that i have recently watched with a twist was the movie named "Half Baked". This Movie was really good and funny. It's about this guy named Thurgood and his friends Kenny Scarface and Brain. They are really big pot heads and they where getting high from a huika pipe and it was kenny turn to get the food for the munches. well he was caught and went to jail cause he gave a cops horse pop corn. so his freinds start selling weed to get him out. then thurgood met this girl named mary jane and she is really against getting high. At the end the twist is that he has to choose between mary jane or mary jane and he chose Mary jane.

A movie that I have watched that had a twist in plot was the movie "The Prestige", with Hugh Jackman as the star. This movie is about two magicians that are rivals of each other. One of these magicians sabotages the other, resulting in a horrible accident. This accident is continued to be repeated every night he performs. The twist is at the end, when these odd events finally reveals itself. (I can't really say more without any spoilers). I will admit that this was a very confusing movie to watch. What I did to help me understand the movie was watch it again, and again. Every time I watched it, I discovered something new that helped me understand the storyline. The meaning that is trying to be relayed to the audience is one that is only apparent after watching the movie multiple times, and reading a few internet summaries. That's what I did, anyway. Sadly, there weren't many of my friends who had seen this movie, so it was hard to talk to anyone about it. When I did find someone, they had the same thoughts that I did. We both agreed that it was a confusing movie with a twist that was second to none. Once you know what is happening, it is hard to stop thinking about it! This is one of the things that I think the director did very well. He created a story that stayed with you, and was full of mystery. Why did he do that, might you be wondering? Well, I think the director added mystery elements to keep the movie gripping. It was impossible to know what happens with this story until the very end, and it is unordinary enough to keep people from losing interest in it. Plus, this movie is a little freaky, and that twist in emotions (especially when your not expecting it) is what makes this such a great film. So, the movie that I chose with a major twist, and elements of mystery, is the movie "The Prestige". I recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for a good thrill!

ReplyDeleteA movie I recently seen while with my family is "Stay Alive" with actors Sophia Bush, Frankie Muniz, etc. This movie just happens to be a horror/thriller where a underground video game is found by a childhood friend of a man who was just found murdered in his home. After attending his friends funeral him & some other friends gather around at his apartment to play this game. Well, little did they know to their suprise the cathc was, "Die in the game, die in real life." Tricky yes, but they didn't figure it out after the superstitions of the mysterious deaths of his friends the cops suspected the guy he was warning them about the killer-game. He was destined to stop this & prove his case after 4 people died, so he trecks on finding the plantation of Count Elizabeth Mistress & kill her, by bashing three nails into her & the only way an undead soulcan die is to burn their blood. He succeeds... So he thought & here comes the twist. Slowly as the movie was nearing it's end the video game is now found again & sold in stores!! This confused me, because I wasn't sure if Elizabeth could be rebirthed from the depths again & her wrath felt. The movie itself wasn't hard to figure out, crazy lady trying to kill people.. Very simple if you ask me. The only person I tried to talk to was my mom who was very confused by it. Authors put mystery in their stories to draw your attention & so that you can depict your own ideas & conclusions... But keep in mind their initial meaning. In this case mystery was definitely a key for this movie.
A movie I watched recently was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. One of the moments that had a twist was when Voldemort was "reborn" and regained his body. I didn't expect them to do it that way. I looked at my sister and said "What just happened?" It had happened not too long after they had murdered Cedric Diggory. It was also a twist because of the way that they went about it. It was supposed to be a dark type of spell, but having to cut off your hand, was sort of extreme. Stealing the bones of your father is pretty messed up, and gashing open the arm of a 14 year old kid is just competley physopathic. I figured out what the movie was about because, they then came out right and said it. I think that the director added an air of mystery because Harry Potter is a movie that is very very popular, and had very very high expectations to live up to, and their way of living up to said expectations is to add said air of mystery and keep the watchers guessing especially if you have read the books and are waiting to see how they are going to make a movie out of the book.

ReplyDeleteone movie with a twist that i was was orphan. this couple went and adopted a little girl. as it turns out this little girl was a grown woman. she has a disease that does not make her grow. so anyway she tries to turn everyone on the mother. then after she burns down the house and she hurts the dad and hurts their other little kid. i was a little confused about the ending of this movie. but then as i watched on i started to understand the movie. i think that the author puts mystery in their move so that the people get hooked in the movie better.
Well right now I can't think of a movie. So I'm just going to use the movie "Shutter Island", it didn't really get me confused; it was just a TWISTED move. Absolutely love it :D The beginning started of great i completely understood everything that was going on. Not once did i get lost or confused, I just seem to ask a lot of questions when I'm into a movie because i get so excited. The main character was a reporter, yes we understood that; he was trying to figure out a mystery or solve a case or something from what i remember. But until when we started getting closer to solving the conflict the story then began to change and switch around on the viewers of the movie. Thats when I started getting a little stressed out because i actually paid attention to something that i thought had nooo meaning. I was upset until it all started explaining what happened and why this was all happening. It came out to be that the guy was just CRAZY and he was the insane one. He wasn't trying to solve anything it was all in his head the whole time he was acting like this detective reporter guy he was just a insane person locked away on and island full of crazy people and he was the one trying to be found. Basically why the writer makes stories and movies this way for more excitement if the writer wouldn't have done that it would have just been a plain movie it was more mysterious than anything.
ReplyDeleteShutter Island because it talk about how he was in a bad condition with his own mind. his wife had something in her head she said in it made her go crazy so she killed all three of her kids, then later he was so breath taken he killed his wife, and thought of a new name and personality for him. so he was a different person, and acted like a detective. so later in the movie when he goes to the island he is trying to find a girl then he later finds out there was no such thing as a girl he was looking for. the people of the faclity are trying to break him on who he realy was and what really happened and what a his wife did. then they go over is flash backs witch where his kids. later he finds out his real self then had a chance to live but didn't take it. he said, WOULD YOU RATHER LIVE AS A MONSTER OR DIE A GOOD MAN

The whole point of this movie is to convince this guy to not trust the people or something they are trying to convince him to not believe in what they is trying to do. They are trying to do this in a way that is not totally obvious and that he wont realize that it is them who are doing it. In this movie the twist is at the end where they are trying to get out of the dream and it is in the very end where they are in the limbo and their is two people and only one gets out but to get out you need the effect of falling to get out and the buildings in limbo are falling and they might all get out. then the end he has a top an when he spins it it stops in the real world but in the dreams it keeps turning and the very end of the movie he starts turning it and then.........................THE END
ReplyDeletethe most resent movie that i have watched that has had a twist in the ending was probably have to be the inside man which was really good it was really good it was about these four bank robbers and they had a really good plan to take over the bank but they were'n after any money in the bank because there was some thing more valuable in that bank that they were after but in every few scences it showed some of the bank robber were making a a little room in the bank and when the head robber let the captain of the police in to see that no one was hurt in a brief moment he told the officer that when he's done with what he came for he will walk right out the door and they will never catch him or the other four and thats where the little room came in to play and his other three partners in crime blended in with the hostages and after waiting a week he came out and really walked right out the front door so it was'n the plan boring good guy wins type of movie that is what gave it it's twist.

ReplyDeleteThe author's meaning of the poem is that he has loved this girl since childhood and when she died he was devastated. The poem is all about his love for her. He loved her but he knew that they could never be together, because they come from different backrounds.
A movie that i've seen that has a good twist but it was hard to understand. Im still a little confused when i watch but i still watch it. It's name is Joyride. I forgot all the names but i remember the plot these 2 brothers go on a trip to California and they have a truckers cb radio in there car. They thought it'd be fun to mess with a trucker and act like girls and this trucker just so happens to be crazy and lonely. So when these guys act like "Candy Cane" the trucker gets all happy and wants to meet Candy Cane but the guys keep stalling. Then when the guys stop at a hotel and a guest at the hotel is really rude they find out what his hotel number is and tell the crazy trucker the hotel room. The guys get a room right next door so they can hear what's going on through the wall they see a semi pull up and they start hearing loud noises next door then like someone fell and they got worried so they called the hotel manager and reported the disturbance the next morning the rude hotel guest was missing and the police suspected the boys since they were the last people to talk to the guest. The guys are a little worried now but continue they stop and get one of the brothers good girlfriends. They all stop and get gas and a semi pulls up and the group gets all peranoid and leave in a hurry they end up driving off in to the corn fields to ditch the semi but the semi trucker only wanted to return the wallet so then they thought they were safe then as they pull out a bigger semi pulls in with the crazy trucker into the corn fields and tries smashing the people in the car. After he pretty much smashes the car but no one was hurt he said it was all a little game. The group goes to a another hotel and surprise surprise the crazy truckers there and when the brothers leave the girl the crazy trucker kidnaps the girl and sets up a trap for if someone walks into a hotel room the girl will automatically get shot with a shotgun. Then you can find out how they escape from all that madness.

A movie that has a twist to me would probably be Halloween 2. This movie kinda confused me because i didn't get why Michael wanted to kill his sister if she was a baby and didn't do nothin to make him mad or hurt him in anyway. it started off with him killing his hamster and then a cat and then he started from there. His mom went to work one night and thats when it all happened. his moms boyfriend always gave him a hard time and called him names he probably shouldn't of. When he's sleeping he gets a knife and slits his throte. His sister gets killed next by gettin stabbed all kinds of times. And then he kills other people. but i think him killing his family was the most important because it was his family. but i didn't understand why he wanted to kill his sister so bad if she never did nothin to him. whenever he killed them he got sent to a crazy home i think it is. and he killed a nurse in there because she said somethin i guesssssss?? but idk he's pretty crazy.

Back then they were little kids without a care in the world when a guy named freddie kruger a maintanance man made a device that can claw them. he haunts peoples dream and kills them both in dreams and in real life. a girl and a guy both survivers of all the kids in the class who died both went out to find freddie kruger. they had to stay up so they can not die so they went to their old preschool and found him in their dreams. then the girl kills him and in the end the all went home but freddie kruger came back as a reflection in the mirror and killed the girls mom. that was a craziest twist in the movie because i thought he had died. that is scary because it was a wierd twist because i though he had died. i thought he was actually dead and the cook thing in the story shows the dead kids child forms. they actually help reach them to their doom somewhere in freddie's realm of torture. i thought that it was wierd, interesting and cool because of all the graphics and the bloody gore inside the movie. it was cheesy that the adults burned him instead of putting him into the prison. he shouldn't have touched those kids ever like at all it was so rude that he killed everyone. it was a total shocker seeing the screams of all his victims and all the misery and death of everyone in it. one by one everyone is dying from freddies claws and nightmare realm by killing people from the yearbook photo.
ReplyDeletea movie i watched that confuses me is the movie "step brothers" now you might be thinking "why step brothers? i know its funny but why is this confusing?" i think its very confusing like in the way of what exactly is the point to this story? about halfway through i thought this, so i really paid attention and it finally came to me.....the meaning is that basically, don't stop beliving!you see the whole thing is about the two boys who dont even know of each other. but one boys mom and the other boys dad get together and now the boys are step brothers....so when they are older they are both bums basically and now they have nothing but each other and of course they go through hard times....and they go through many other events (VVVEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRYYYYYY funny ones of course) and they learn that if they work together they can accomplish things! so they team up and they actuually get things done
ReplyDeleteIn the movie shutter island in the beginning its starts out as this detective and his partner and they go to an insane asylum to look for a missing insane girl that they thought had escaped. They get to the island the asylum is on and they start looking for her. the main detective starts having these weird flashes where he sees things and sometimes he sees his wife that he thought died in a fire. well after thee happen he gets a massive headache and the doctor of the place gives him some medicine to get ride of them. When he falls asleep he dream of a place where it is snowing and its at night. He is walking down a dirt road and on the sides there are piles of bodies up against metal buildings. when he wakes up from the dream he starts on working in the case. He starts to interview other patients and asks them the last place they saw her. they all say the same thing and he starts getting frustrated and leaves. He and his partner start going to her cell and they start to look through her things. they find a piece of paper and they cant understand it because it is only a particle piece of paper. It was nothing. They just through the paper away and kept going through everything. They look all through the island and the cant find anything. The detective thinks that the doctor is the one taking and killing people and it turns out that the doctor is not doing all this and he breaks in this to the tower where he thinks all the killings are happing. so what he does is he goes to the top and he finds the doctor and starts asking him a lot of questions. The detective starts seeing his wife again and the wife tells him that he does not want to listen because he will be mad and regret it, he didn't listen and the doctor told him he is the one in the insane asylum . The he is there because he killed his wife by shooting her because she drowned their kids because she didn't want then to grow up. So that they would stay young forever. So what she did was she would give them baths and re dress them and she would set them up at the table and have dinner with there bodies. and she thought that she was doing something good and that she was keeping her family the way they were and they would always be her "babies". so it turns out that the man is actually in the asylum and he didn't want to remember that day so he pushed it out and he kept thinking about his life before that and he doesn't remember that day and he keeps on doing the same thing every day and he has been doing that for 2 years. the doctor said that is he doesn't stop and if he doesn't start remembering that they are going to have to kill him because he wouldnt be safe anymore.

A recent movie i have seen was Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. When it confused me of course, i asked lots of questions. :P I had no idea what they were looking for. Intil like at the end of the movie it said they found Fluffy. :D It was a very very very funny movie. Its so funny how that gum gets everywhere. =P How gross. lol. But anyway, this movie is just about a few friends get together to go look for there favorite singer Fluffy. It takes a long time to find him. And plus there looking for there drunk friend. Who has a gum that goes threw everything. (EWWWW!) Nick has a ex that he really likes and everything. But she cheated on him and he doesnt know. (How rude!) Then Nick hangs out with Norah they fight and everything during like the whole movie then they spilt up and go separate ways. Nick goes to hang with his ex and while hanging out with her, he realizes he actually really likes Norah. So goes back to Norah and they end up getting together and finding Fluffyy. :D

the movie that has a twist is the crazies because it starts off like a normal city. They think that there is this guy that is drunk he has gun with him he is running in the middle of a base ball field with kids playing a game the chief of the police had to shoot him because he was trying to kill some kids. the family got mad at him but they really didn't know that these people were getting sick because a plane fell in the water and it had a toxic gas that gives them a a wired zombie disease. there are only so many people with out this disease because they didn't drink from the falsest water. the swat team thinks that everyone has this disease if they have a high temperature they have the disease. the chiefs wife is pregnat and has not told her husband till they are getting taken to get tested for this disease so they get seperated and she is stuck on a table all the zombies get loose and they all run and kill half the swat team. a rancher that is a zombie goes into the place where they are stuck on the table and he sees some of the other twitching zombies and stabs them in the stomach. he was almost at the teenager when he the the chief comes in and shoots the zombies and saves the two ladys they try to find a car to get out of that town but all of them are booted. there are like five hunters that are shooting down zombies and they run all the way the teenagers boyfriends house and he pulls the gun out on them but doesnt shoot because he realizes its his girlfriend they find his mom in the house and she is outside and she had a temperature so they blast her so he runs out there and the cops see him and they kill him and they burn him and the teenager starts crying but they shut her up because the swat is out side and a guy goes in the barn and they turn the gun on them and he has to tell the rest of the swat team there is no one else in there they are find a car the girl dies in the car wash and the other cop is getting infeacted so he risks his life so they can save the other people. so this is what happens in the movie and how twisted it is

ReplyDeleteThe movie is about when these kids that are about 20 years old, they are about 6 friends and they go on this camping trip and they rent a cabin up in the mountains, as they are their for a few days, they are really starting to get scared because of the disappearing of their best friends when they go out somewhere and they don't return. Meanwhile, they are enjoying there time up in the mountains and they have no idea what kind of torture they are about to out their selves in, so one day as the group of friends went to the lake they wanted to go swimming, and they start to get naked and everything, that goes for the girls though.
Well anyway, they get on the boat and they ride on it together and it's only the girl and the boy, the man was driving and what happened was that the guy that is the killer gets his arrow and he shoots the guy friend in the head and he falls out of the boat and they wreck. When they wrecked, the girl went under the dock the killer man was standing above her head on the dock and she did not know he was there, so when she was trying to be quit, he got his arrow and threw it into the dock and it got her in her head, she died in the water from him and that was already two of everyones friends. Therefore, when there other friends were trying to look for them and they couldn't, they were then starting to wonder, and they were freaking out, like why would they disappear.
Ater all the other friends die, they get scared and they try finding a road to get some help, as they are going to the road, they are being chased as well by the crazy mean man, so as they meet up with the road they see a cop and freak out with exaggeration and the killer man shoots him out of know where, so the kids take the police car and they drive off to try and find some other help to get away....OTHER PARTS:
They find a hide-out place and they get up there in a hurt so they don't see them where they have gone, so when they are thinking and figuring out how to use the monitor (wocky-talky), from the ground, the killer guys are hurrying up the rope and trying to kill them before they escape somewhere else before it's to late..They then find lighters and lights in the house and they find traps to put in the door way so that when they come up in the door way, they smack them and everything.
I also think that, maybe the reason they named the movies The Wrong Turn is because maybe the teenagers or the 20year olds went the wrong way on there trip for camping and they wanted something that wasn't that far, and that they probably wanted to try it.
That is now the end of my story that I seen with my own vision and the movie that I've seen several times.
I think you guys should watch it because it is really good, and I mean REALLY REALLY great, you would enjoy it, I did and I think you would as well.
Also, when the girl and the boy were looking around, they found a house and they wanted to check it out, they did and when they walked in there, I think there was maybe two other people with them, and they were trying to get out right away because they have shown up. When they showed up, they had to hurry and find a hide out place to hide, or they would have been killed and their dinner.
When they hide, they bring in a body and they notice that it was there friend, she was just laying there and It looked like she was crying,
They wanted to scream because they saw there friend dead right in the middle of there face and they couldn't do anything about it.
It was bad and I think that maybe they can have possibly stuck together all the other times rather than be sepaerated
and that was the saddest part.
That was the movie that I have watched.

ReplyDeleteOne movie I have seen recently that had a twist and was hard to follow is Vantage Point. It is all about the murder of the president and the few minutes that followed. This movie got really confusing because it took so many turns and was hard to follow. When I got lost i would ask my parents and my siblings and they had to keep telling me what was going on. I think directors throw in twist and turns in a movie to keep their audience on the edge of there seats. They want them to be involved and watching it because that is what makes a movie good. However I think some movies have to many twists and turns! I get so lost when watching and movie and I just give up because I realized I would never understand what it was trying to tell me.

Nearly a year ago, I watched this movie. It was starring Jake Gyllenhaal (A.K.A. Prince of Persia/Brokeback Mountain cowboy).
Let's start from the beginning. It starts with a crash, this paradox of a film. There's a weird boy, who amazingly enough, survives a plane part crashing into his room. Or so it seems.
He meets this girl, a end of the world predicting bunny, and sees the will of humankind.
In this transcendental for it's day and age flick,
it's a race against time as Donnie tries to understand the universe.
The end, is, after all, the end.
Especially for Donnie.
He died when the plane part crashed into his room.
The movie i think that had a twist was the Uninvited. When i watched it the first time and i got all confused. So later i watched it again and it made more sense. what got me confused was that it made out that the girlfriend of this girls dad was crazy. That she was the one who wanted the sick mom to die. it made the girlfriend look like she was crazy and wanted the dad all to herself. also they make the dads daughter look like shes alive. but in the end it turned out that one of the daughters is actually crazy. and she is the one who accidentally killed her sick mom. she was the crazy one. plus the other sister was actually dead but anna, the one who was crazy was just imanging her.
ReplyDeleteOne movie i have watched that had a twisted plot was "Premonition" with Sandra Bullock. That may be my most favorite movie but it is confusing as heck! ok. So Sandra Bullocks husband dies one day, and then is alive and well the next, then the day after that is his funeral. It was so confusing. But towards the end, i found out she was having premonitions, which is probably where they got the title from. so the movie started out with sandra doing her everyday things, going for a job, finishing the laundry, and taking the kids to school. She comes home and finds a voicemail of her husband on the phone, Then a police officer came to her door with the surprising news that her husband had died in an accident. so that same day she has to face the point of telling her children, and getting funeral plans in line. she goes to sleep holding her husbands picture, and on the couch. The next day, she wakes up IN HER ROOM! she hears the shower running and to her surprise, it was her husband in whom had died the day before. The laundry she cleaned the day before was dirty, even the stickers she put on the glass sliding door had mysteriously disappeared. When this happened i was like WOAH!!! so the next day she goes to sleep in bed next to her husband thinking it was all just a bad dream. so she wakes up the "next day" and her husband is gone, she isn't in the same clothes she fell asleep in. she goes downstairs in wonder and the room is filled with family and friends, all dressed in black, she found it was her husbands funeral. then she gets taken to a mental hospital and yaddy yaddy ya...

The movie i watched that had a twisted plot was Shutter Island. In this movie the main actor is a detective from New York City. He was in the war and his wife died in the fire. The detective and his partner had to go to and island for the criminally insane. A patient had gone missing and they had no idea how she escaped her cell or where she went on the island. Everyone knew something was going on but they wouldn't say anything. The detective found the girl in a cave and she told him everything. She told him that they were experimenting on the patients and that no one knew anything about it. Also that there was another prisoner missing. She told him is was all being done in the light house. So, the detective went to the light house to investigate. He found a room for surgery and continued up the stairs. When he got to the top he found out that he was the other missing patient. He didn't serve in the army and his wife did not die in a fire. His wife was slowly losing her mind and he didn't do anything about it. She killed his kids and so he killed her. After this he became insane and was sent to the island. They were trying a new method to cure the insane prisoners. If he knew who he was they wouldn't do something to him so he wouldn't remember anything. He didn't want to live knowing that he did that so he pretended he was still crazy.

A movie that i have recently watched was shutter island this movie was great. it was about a detective and his partner go to this mental institution called shutter island they are on a case looking for a girl that escaped well this detective is investigating they were asking the nurses questions. well later on in the movie he starts thinking there was a surgery room in this light house. where they did experiments on them, well he was hiding from the security he went in this cave and saw the missing girl. well there was another patient number missing and he still trying to find it out. well later at the end of the movie he was the missing patient, he was being tested if he still didn't think he was lookin for a girl opr something because his wife killed his kids and he killed his wife
ReplyDeleteA movie i recently watched that had a twist to it was Charlie St. Cloud. At first the movie started out really slow and sort of boring. Then all of a sudden the older brother is driving to his graduation party with his younger brother and they get in a car crash! The younger brother dies. Before the younger brother died the older brother promises him that he will play baseball with him everyday. So as the movie goes on everyday he plays baseball with his dead brother... its pretty confusing?!? Then he meets this girl who is going to sail around the world. He asks her to dinner and they start to like each other. They tell each other a lot about themselves. Then one morning he goes to get coffee and he hears the cops have a search party looking for the girl sailing. So all along he really wasnt with the girl he was with her ghost. And the ghost is trying to get him to find her. He runs to the dock gets a boat and goes looking for her. He finally finds her and saves her life. After she recovers they fall in love i guess.... I was really confused and it had a big twist to it!!!!!!!!

Mhm, I would have to say is The Last Song. This is because it took a twists. Ronnie which is the main character started off hating her dad, and then she finds out how sick he really is. During all of this she starts to fall in love, with this boy from where her dad lives. And they fall in love and she goes and meets her parents. Well I can go on about this forever and ever. But what I am really trying to get at is the twist, I think the twist is where she starts to want to leave, and then her mom tells her something to make her want to stay. In the end if you pay attention it starts to make some sense. But the real reason she wants to stay is her dad is slowly dying from cancer. She wants to stay to help her little brother out, because he is younger and he doesn't understand what is going on with him. She tries to stay strong for her. And in the mean time there is this real witchy girl who is trying to break her and her crush up. She makes up lies to break them up. So I'm finally getting to the real twist. The main thing this thing is talking about is there was a church burnt down in your town. They blame it on the dad, when it was really the daughters crushes brother. And Ronnie the girl wants her brother to tell the truth, so the dads rep will be cleared. So this is the real twist in the story, and it is what the whole story is wrapped around. Even though it turns into a love story it is the hidden problem in the movie. It is not talked about much so that is why I think it is a twist. Because in the middle of the movie it is made into a big part, but you are thrown off because it isn't really talked about much, but it is still a large problem. You have to assume about the church being burnt down, because in no part of the movie did it either show you or tell you about what had happened, or how it had happened. So it ends up being a real twist and it throws people off. This is why I chose this movie to be for this prompt.

It was a little bit confusing because in the first movie the main character was killed after she killed her boyfriend. Than at the end of paranormal activity 2 she came back and killed her sister and her husband. Then she took their baby than disapeared and was never seen again. my friends perspective was that if you watched the first movie you will understand the second one.
ReplyDeleteThere was this recent movie that i had watched and it was fairly confusing. I cant remember the movie but it was pretty intense. I think that this confused me a lot is because the movie was shown from a camcorder. So during the movie you have to try to ignore the little battery icon and the static parts. The movie was about how part of the world starts to come to an end and everyone starts to become zombies. Its mainly a guy that is recording his life with him and his girlfriend and just at this party everything starts going wrong from there and then the zombie attacking starts. So as you know you would do a lot of running during an attack so the movie was starting to move a lot. So at that point was when a lot of things started to make less sense. I had to eventually ask my dad what was going on and then i totally got lost so i just had to watch the movie a couple of more times! =*)
ReplyDeletea movie that i have watched recently that had a twist was the new predator. it confused me because during the whole movie, this mercenary is betraying all of his comrades. the ending pretty much played itself out until the mercenary came back for two of his comrades. another thing that was a twist was that one of the comrades that was a doctor, turned out to paralyze one of the comrades
ReplyDeletea movie that i thought had a crazy twist was Snakes on a Plane. The reason I thought this movie was because in the movie they dont show how the snakes got on the plane. An in the begining i want to know how the cop new to be at the witness house at the right time. I also dont get how come the snakes didn't stay down below the plane were it was warm. One more part that I didn't get is why when they put the snake in the microwave, why they had a snake button for the quick timer. All in All I think the derictors did a grate job on this movie, because to this day I still watch that movie.

Their is two girls and two guys. one of the guys was the one you couldn't seen being soft. in The begging he said he loved beer, and buck. but he didn't say who buck was. so they showed it as a dog. so when they make it to a new place, and out of know were he starts to cry and brake down. but they weren't expecting it because who he was. then he mentioned how he missed his son. so his suns name was buck. it wasn't a dog. so it had through me off. that is one movie that had a little twist.

"As in kiddnappiinq" also why the kid didnt run wen the quy qive him a chances. After watchinq this movie a couple i understood it. It was sad at some points but its a very qood movie.!
ReplyDeleteThe movie that made me confused was Black Hawk Down. This was confusing because I had no idea why the soldiers were in Africa. This is a good movie because it is based on a true story. I think the director wanted to show the world what was happening in the war. I think it was made to show the experiences of the soldiers who lost their lives.

one of the movies i ever seen is lottery ticket because to me it is confusing why because when someone says that they heard that the boy won the lottery ticket. Then he runs home and asked his grandma and says (grandma y did you tell all the people we won the $3,000 off the ticket) and the grandma says that ( i do not tell now one). then i seems like she told all the peolpe. But she did not tell others. But what happend is that there was this man thet heard them taking about how they won it. And he wentto all the people and said that they won the lottery ticket. then after all of that happend is that all the people that have not liked him or talked to him started to talk and liked him when they found out they won the lottery ticket and there was this girl he like for a long time and she did not like him. Then when he won the lottery ticket she went out with him. Also there was this guy that wanted to kill him. Then when he found out about the ticket he became friends with him that was confusing to me.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite movies that is based completely on plot twist is 'Fight Club' which is based on the book by Chuck Palahniuk. Palahniuk writes a lot of mind boggling, twisted, freaky stories that are very much worse than 'Fight Club' like 'Diary' which is about a whole town who is in on a scheme to convince the main character that she is destined to paint beautiful portraits on their Island of Waitansea. In the end it turns into a psychedelic journey of her unconscious soul that has been resurrected, brought to the island and had an extreme talent for painting. She has been resurrected as Maura Kinkaid once. Another crazy plot twister of his was 'Rant' which is based around rabies but ultimately ends with Casey Rant being Rant who is Rant's father... Meaning that Rant is Rant's father! Which is totally insane. I digress, 'Fight Club' is about a man who lives a gray and boring life. He finally hits the wall and cracks, he ends up burning his apartment and getting on a random flight to a random area (which is something he does every time he gets a bout of insomnia.) On this particular flight he has boarded, he met a laid back and sort of crazy man who sells soap (or so you think) to rich people; his name is Tyler Durden. He gets our narrator into a lot of bad situations and horrible fights, which ends in starting a fight club used for venting men's anger. In the end The Narrator is Tyler Durden and he is really just a very insane person who's life and people around him have clever avoided outright telling him that he is Tyler and they are one and he is just a crazy, crazy man.

ReplyDeleteWell if you don't know what is Glee ( SHAME!!!!!!!! ) is a school and a man wanted to start a club that uses the kids and their amazing talents to sing and other musical teachings. When the club started out no one wanted to do it because they thought they were going to get picked on.
Well anyway a confusing part in the season was when Quinn and Finn were dating in the beginning of the show. To me I thought they were going to last forever. But then one night she had the NOOOO! and the person was Puck.He had made her a little drunk and i think i can guess what they did. So one night a was really ready to see it and i started to cry when i found out was when Quinn found out that it was not Finns baby it was Pucks. I WAS SAD!!!!!!!!!! Then the next season she had they baby and Quinn and Puck decided that the they are going to put the baby for adoption. =(
Recently I haven't watched that many movies with good plot twists that I can think of at the moment. But theres actually a song that I remember that has a pretty good plot to it. Its actually a country song (yes country) that's called "little white liar". In the music video It shows this girl thats getting ready for her wedding, but as she walks down the aisle, to her husband to be, and as she see each of her friends she's singing her song and the video starts to shows all her friends that have been with her fiance, and how he's been keeping this huge lie, about being unfaithful to her. while I'm seeing all of this happen and how the guy is doing this horrible thing and it seems like he might get away with it, even though the girl isn't clueless, but not exactly sure whats going on, and might still marry the guy. In the end she steps up to her husband to be; and looks him in the eye and tells him "Guess what? Turns out I've been lying too." Then she pushes him aside and walks straight over to the best man, and kisses him. This surprised me so much, but I was really happy that the guy ended up getting what he deserved in the end of this song.

ReplyDeleteI was watching harry potter and the deathly hollows (part 1). the kids harry, ron, and hermineny were at the moufoies house. there they got captered and hermineny was torcherd by belletrix lastrange. belletrix is an evil witch that was a servent of the dark lord. she was about to kill harry potter when doby the house elf arived to save the kids and belletrix killed him as they escaped.

- To me this poem was an example of life, and that there will be many choices that we'll have to choose from. And that even though we probrably wont see what the outcome of our choice is, we have to go with our best intentions in mind and choose.
- The common meaning that people believe the author meant was that "having to choose is inevitable, but you will never know what your choice means until you have lived it."
